Tippers

i did a couple of years on bulk, cant really add much more to what has been said, common sense (which sadly isnt common any more) comes into it, depending on the work, expect to get dusty and dirty, and be prepared to use the shovel!!

yes they have a bad reputation, but i dont they are the worst on the road.

oh, and how do you know if a tipper driver is knocking off your wife?

the bedsheets are rolled to the side and all the mirrors are smashed

ill get my coat

Hahahahahahahahaha, nice one.

i know this stupid question but driving a tipper is alot better than doin multi drop

Never done tippers so this has been a interesting read, cheers guys

couple more things…

if you are delivering to a farm…

NEVER refuse a brew , you wont get asked next time when you really need one

NEVER throw the ball / stick / stone / bit of dead rabbit that the border collie drops at your feet. The dog will pester you all the way back to the nearest motorway or large town.

NEVER hit the scrap plough / oildrum / piece of combine . It will suddenly become the most valuable bit of scrap in the world that the farmer cannot do without even though it was overgrown by 25 years worth of weeds

Hope this helps

all down to the individual, i have done both before, and enjoyed both of them, muti drop tends to be cleaner, but it is also nice doing 1 drop then 1 collection sort of thing
