Is it possible you’ve now been removed off pre mod? Rikki’s new year post mentioned some cases were reviewed and certain people would be given a second chance.
I assume that we are discussing Stobrats? If so then many years ago (before I finished in 2002) they were intending to run tippers in Scotland at a quarry or gypsum works and wherever in the UK they delivered (local or distance) the rate would be the same as they could get a decent backload to make the difference up. A Scottish od told me this when he was loading at our Derbyshire quarry, I assume it never happened though? Easy work anyway Dozy, just take it nice and steady and run at your own pace and you will be fine.
Stobarts did run tippers in the 90s ,well at least 1 …it loaded the swarf/offcuts from CMB Carlisle and ran coils back from wales in a coil pit in the tipper floor.
I used to see it in CmB Carlisle when going in for cans.
I got asked if a wanted to go and do that MIB stuff asked for info but still waiting. But i wont hold my breath sounds like its going to be a ■■■■ about everyday.
the nodding donkey:
It’s time to call time on the most inept troll, or most stupid truck driver, ever…
Time will make you look a fool when there’s stobart ( mib ) low loaders and tippers about wont it , they say trucks will be run out of 4 depots under the mib banner , so there should be enough about to be seen
As for my input on here , at least I’m not a wind up merchant , who’s only posts are digs , trying to wind up posters .
But I’ll take your advice and do one , let’s see if your big enough to stand up and admit your a fool when tippers and low loaders start to appear , I wont hold my breath as you’ll be too busy trying to wind up someone else

I wouldn’t worry yourself too much , were meant to have 30 trucks / drivers on flats , due to a few leaving / the rest refusing to do that work for £8 ph there’s 8 on it , 1 of those is leaving if he gets a another job/ asks every day to come off it , and most of the other 7 have about had enough.
Can’t see there being anymore intrest / take up for jobs on tippers / low loaders ,
Maybe you’d be interested in a job , I know the select / explore drivers were over joyed at the prospect of 2 weeks doing tesco store deliveries at xmas
Make up your mind dozy.
You claimed I started this thread as a trolling exercise , implying that STOBARTS werent having divisions named mib, they weren’t having 4 depots on mib work, they never had a presentation day with managers , prospective customers , they wernt going to run tippers, they wernt going to run low loaders ( they have some already ) I say it’s true , you claim its trolling , let’s see who’s right , I only need one tipper to prove your a fool , and even though I may not work there any more by the time it gets up and running , or if I do I don’t want to do tippers etc , I will drive it just to prove it wasn’t a trolling thread , and to hear you stand up and admit your a fool , wind up merchant ( see accident at Leicester firest East to confirm my thoughts on you)
Oh by the way mib stands for manufacture industry bulk, I wouldn’t want you to try and weasel yourself out of the corner you’ve back yourself .

I didn’t comment on the accuracy of your statement regarding Stobart going into tippers. I commented on your consistently garbled posts, which combined with your regular stories of self inflicted woo, are becoming somewhat tiresome. You come across as a useless driver, the likes of whom I have met many over the years. Always moaning, always wincing, and everything is always someone else’s fault.
I tell my colleagues who indulge in that kind of whining the same face to face. Grow up, and put up or shut up.
And regards the tippers, what is it to be dozy? Will, or will they not?
war1974:
tippers isn’t hard though, as long as you want to go flat out everywhere.
A firm with red lorries around these parts is actually docking drivers wages if they don’t do the loads required. Heard the talk on the cb this morning, a few very annoyed drivers.

Red arrows ?
That’s one way to refer to them. Can’t see how you can dock wages for that.

Doubt a driver who’s been there over 1year needs to lodge a sternly worded grievance procedure to company HR dept!!!
