Tipper drivers.

Ive been watching them reverse, how do they get to be so good at it,even blind siding it, just straight answers please

It’s a trap! Don’t answer people!

Just because you don’t know the answer, why shouldn’t the rest of us have a go ■■

Are you talking about bendy or non bendy [emoji12]

I see a pattern forming with these same questions

Let’s change the question. Why is it always a tipper driver 2 inches from the back of your trailer when your overtaking in lane 2 or approaching a roundabout at a sensible speed i.e. Ready to stop if needed

Because silly were obviously either

a) On load bonuses
b) The weighbridge is about to close
c) Your going to slow

Or a combination of all 3 [emoji57]

I saw one the over day approaching a roundabout in this manner. He couldn’t stop, cut up a car and I thought then, must be a load bonus ha

Years of practice of hammering full pelt into a building site, slamming on the brakes, throwing it into reverse before the forward momentum has stopped and flooring it when reversing.

Yawn

Damage is proportional to the speed difference at impact. Driver in front slams on a 56, what will be the speed differential and damage when the tipper 2" behind touches? may be he is saving on brake wear?

It’s because a lot of them have reversing cameras these days - makes it s-o-o-o much easier
