He certainly can drive that wagon and drag!!

Very impressive.

Very efficient.

that is one long draw-bar, I wonder if he gets many muppets in cars trying to pull into that space.

Looks very much like the type of drawbars we have up here. The long drawbar is to do with the axle weights.60 t gross.

Must be Agency, wasn’t quick enough :open_mouth:

Wow! :open_mouth:

I had a go in one of those once many years ago and I don’t mind admitting it, I cattle trucked it right up!!

It’s that long to give enough clearance to tip the wagon, without unhitching the drag.

no it’s not,it’s for the Swedish axle weights and the distance you are required tohave between axles to achieve the 60t weight limit.I drive one of those wagon and drags.

Are they any easier than the short uk a frames ?

Hi,i don’t know if it’s easier,i had a few problems when i first moved here because of the length [25 mtrs]until i got used to it.I had driven road trains [bad word i know, but it’s what we use]in the UK in the 70s to the ME and later in Holland so i had a Little idea.
The system is a bit strange re the axles and length to achieve the 60t max.The bar could be a meter shorter but then you reduce payload and with road and mining materials weight is Money. As long as you have enough room it’s ok,but like any truck if it’s tight it’s tight but up here we only have space.A lot of Companys now are changing to the small '‘caravan’'type trailers, you lose a few tons but can tip anywhere.
