tipped trailer

When I designed and took delivery of a new trailer while manager at Toray, the
first thing we did was put a heavy stillage of fabric on the rear, place a fork
truck in front of the head board with the forks 6" below the striker plate, and
then load 4 stillages (it was a stepframe with a very long gooseneck to take 4
large stillages) on the upper deck. Then another fork truck lifted the
heavyweight off the rear - nothing happened. Job proved, in safety, it’s called
risk assessment and isn’t complicated :unamused:
