Ok so I had a conversation with someone today about the road sign in the link. the argument was about when you can and cant go though, so for the sake of this take Mon-Fri. So I say that you CAN’T go though between 9pm and 7am. But the other guy said that you CAN only go though between 9pm and 7am.
my point would be that if he was right it would say Except and the the times.
I was just checking as now I am doubting myself.

The times on the sign are the times the restriction applies, in other words a vehicle over 16.5t cannot go through the restriction Monday to Friday 21:00 to 07:00 except for permit holders.
