heading there on sunday, are you allowed to park in docks overnite?
no m8 no parking in the docks at all. when you come off the A13 head to first roundabout go right past asda across second and you use to be able to park on the road after roundabout. you can turn around about 600 metres down that road

If you head past the docks, go past the cruise terminal, theres a road off the next roundabout which you can park in, the Worlds End pub is at the end of it and you can get a decent meal and a pint there.

Not that kind of parking ticket bud, I meant it was free parking but the pub landlord will give you a receipt marked " parking" for the meal…hence the attached to my o.p.
i did think that you might have meant that after I posted but never mind. Anyway I must have been special cuz I never paid anything to park there and never had a meal as I was late parking up and only stopped 9 hours so went to bed.

No one pays for parking. The point is that if you have a meal the landlord will give you a receipt for ‘parking’ to cover the cost of your meal so you can claim it back from your boss, therefore having a free meal!
