Last few months my cab inside has been a tip due to me not giving a flying ! And it was getting me down also I broke a glass the other week and there was still glass behind passengers seat and in the footwell
Yesterday afternoon I set about tidying out , hovering out etc
Now the cab feels a happier more liveable space still got some odd things to do but it’s way better in there .
Good I would hate to have a different motor each day
What hoover do you use?

One from our office
The last lot…
I drove for had 30 units. Aside from the shunt motors, none had allocated drivers. Whilst they weren’t in concours condition, they were all reasonably fresh and tidy. There was a cleaning kit available from the fitters hut if you asked. Sure, there was the occasional empty can of lilt and Terry’s chocolate orange wrapper but, for the most part they were ok.
The dirtiest part was always the windscreen where it gets that film over it. Seems I was the only one to carry a bag of Screenies. Then again, once they’ve watched me clean the screen, they know they’ve got a cleaner for life.

I bought one of these type, plugged it into the inverter. Chucked the little metal pole bit away and used it as a hand held. Also chopped the cable down to about 10ft. Used to live behind the passenger seat with the inverter. This is why I filled the boot of a Landrover Discovery when I left my last tramping job, Gadgets galore

Thanks, that looks great. But sadly I don’t have an inverter.
My cab has an airline, but that just can’t replace a vacuum. I think I’ll need to take my mats home weekly to hoover.
they used to do a cordless the same but it didnt seem to have the suction power

There’s not really an electric supply at our yard, plus when I finish I just want to get home.

I got mats in my old Scaniareplaced with rubber ones & jet washed them , I found if you sent it for mot with no mats it always came back with a new set , no idea why they didn’t fit rubber as standard , much easier to look after , it’s a lorry at the end of the day

Wrong thread for you to comment on Doze, as the pictures of the filthy rubbish you drive, must make you the most miserable unhappy person on the road, surely !!
