Bimbling across the A421 quite a lot over the last few months. Several of the lay-bys have been closed for some sort of work (it was hard to say what they were doing because so little seemed to be happening).
What they’ve done is repair all the broken kerbs and the sunken pavements that occur when ever a fully loaded lorry goes over them.
Which asinine half-witted moron decided that the best way to spend a whole pile of our hard earned money was to repair the damage?
Why on earth not look at the problem properly and make the layby wider? How can anyone be so blind not to see that solution isn’t to keep repairing the damage but engineer a better way to park?
were all off to hell in a handcart hopefully the lay bys on the way will be better designed
