I think they would if they knew that members of the families involved were connected to members on here.
as I am posting here - condolences to the familys involved

condolences to the innocent, unfortunately as with most collisions i think that this could have been avoided by a bit of common sense, maybe the van driver got what he deserved.

hgv mikey, thats a bit harsh dont you think? How do you know who’s fault it was? Condolences to everybody involved

mmmmm…husband and wife team in a vw van…went through the central reservation and colided with oncoming traffic…16 people injured some seriously…2 in van killed and driver of car killed…a bus was involved somewhere as well…many vehicles hit beer kegs that were loaded in the van.
couple in van were from coventry…car driver from the midlands as well.

what’s the betting a foreign truck was involved somewhere along the line?
sound like a classic sideswipe situation…but that’s just guessing.

condolences to all involved.

with regards to the beer kegs…i was behind a truck that hit the central pillar that supports the flyover just before corley services on the s/b side many years ago…the driver was killed outright…the beer kegs struck at least 10 oncoming cars and the carnage that resulted was serious…i was amazed that more people were not killed…hitting a beer keg(or more than one) at 70 mph in the fast lane is a serious accident.
