Not a surprise given the ad revenue and focus on milking the suckers pretending that everything is rosy in the logistics sector. Even a year ago the site was full of adverts for driver training companies which have now disappeared and people who didn’t even know there was a driver shortage and/or that it would get much worse.
Should we be following the script and cheering about 15 year stagnant wages? If you’re now working 10/12/15 hours a day/night, does a take-home of £150 per day sound like a fantasy? Because if wages hadn’t been intentionally made stagnant, that’s what we’d be on and there wouldn’t be a driver shortage.
For what it’s worth , don’t censor too much and become a business and government mouth piece. People out here know what’s happening and that they’ve been screwed by the logistic businesses for years.
Let the truth out. I don’t drive anymore because I won’t join in the scam of low wages and poor conditions and cheer on your advertising sponsors. I’m a bit too old to fall for the ‘it’s a great career’ nonsense and many on here and the 70K drivers who have left the industry will echo that.
Just sayin ….

Yep, if that does not illustrate the problem with multi I.d.users, and their only reason for being so, …then nothing does.
But despite most members expressing their annoyance by it, it goes on , and we’re continually told it’s acceptable within forum rules, and fair enough, …but the pantomimes continue because of it going a long way to spoil a good forum .
But I suppose the answer to that would be along the lines of…''Well if you don’t like it…etc etc .
