Just thought id say hello, been registered for a few years and just enjoy reading but thought id introduce myself now, names Jamie and im from Edinburgh, only 25, had my class 2 since i was 21, ive driven tippers, curtains, flats and sweepers, most recently worked for an agency. Although ive only had my licence 4/5 years, ive been around lorrys my whole life because of my grandad, he drove for swans down the docks, colliers and bulk tippers for seaforth transport which were in the docks as well (to name a few). Sadly he passed away 3 years ago very young at the age of 64, he always wanted me to be a policeman for some reason :s but i couldn’t see that happening, so he put me through my class 2. My plan is to do my class 1 this year and see what happens from there, id like to have my own unit one day, but im in no rush. Sorry for the novel, thanks for reading.
