Thought i would write about experiences so far please

thought it was about time … well as you all know i passed my test on the 18th of may… got offered several jobs straight away, but decided to go with an agency, mainly for experience, drive several different kinds of vehicles.etc etc well my first class 1 job was would you believe it -wagon and drag, argghhhh i thought but i bit the bullet, headed towards rugby ,i kept thinking it will be ok as long as i dont have to reverse ,well someone was looking down on me that night, thanks mum
easy straight in the warehouse one end unload out the other door i wish they where all that easy?
second class 1 job goole to wake field at last i get to hitch up etc etc went ok no problems there
wakefield run was uneventfull ,pulled up at security now then drive if you just do a u turn park up next to the bay ,bloody hell still no reversing i like this
run back to goole was same uneventfull apart from car drivers that will insist on driving at 52 mph and when you go to overtake they speed up mmmmmmmm i have a word for that but would probably get bleeped
well i returned back to the yard ,just drop that trailer over there mate …
no worries i said… wrong plenty of worries complete and utter chaos …if your reading this thanks fozzie for getting it right for me
im not to proud to ask for help…bloody glad i did… well things have gone really well i start work full time for a tanker company monday. im thinking of asking if on my days off i can do some shunting in the yard,to improve my reversing
thanks one and all on here for your support and help much appreciated i will when time allows let you know how things are going

I am glad you are enjoying it HAIRYGORILLA
and good luck with the tanker work  .

Great post!!!

Asking for help should not be an activity that people run away from. We are simply not born with the answers to everything. You wont be the first to ask and you sure as hell wont be the last!!!

Good luck on the tankers!!!

I hope you asked the right questions HAIRYGORILLA.
I passed my test on the Tuesday & my first days driving was on tankers. SEWAGE tankers.
As it turned out I really enjoyed it, but god did I need a shower at the end of the day.

good luck with the new job
