nightline:
Nice post, shame about the thicks that think have to work 12 to 15 hours a day for buttons just to drive a truck to pay the the bills,
Fact if you work for the worst employer in uk for the hours that a truck driver works you would better off, and you would have more respect for yourself
Quite right (well very wrong if im honest), bet the buggers wont even tell other drivers they have left their back doors open.
It does if you are the enemy .absolute perfection .truckers fighting truckers .
dozy:
Start 4 a.m ,tipped and job done by 8 a.m ,no more work on ISO - trac so ring in ,told to head to --------- , wasn’t convinced so rang that depot ,yes you must come here ,is there work there ? ,just do what your told .
So get there for 10 a.m ,planner on break so told to grab a seat ,he commes back and says have a break ,I don’t need one ,well just sit there ,but it’s a Saturday ,my last shift ,I want to go home ,just sit until your loads ready .
Sit in cab ,10.15 no manifest loaded message ,go in and ask every hour is work ready
,wait ,sit in cab with still same message ,no manifest loaded ,go and sit in t.o at 3 p.m .
At 15.30 ,are you still here ,well obviously ,do you want to go back
,we’ve no work for you ,just get yourself a empty tri .
So that’s 5.5 hrs sat there for nothing ,never was a load or it would of been on ISO- trac ,you then drag a empty tri back for nights to drag it back up .
Yet they’ve been bleating all week we’ve got drivers sat as we’ve no trucks at depot ,memo,s going up every 5 mins saying it costs £50 p.h to have a truck / driver sat ,extra break ,10 mins at services ,10 mins in a layby ,zb joke
put the Tacho on “other Work” and tell em at 12.00 that you run out of 60 Hour Workintime.
Job done
