Apparently there new cards ( I’d not know that as only been there ( agency ) for 2 weeks , they’ve had 3 cards do the same thing
My Keyfuels card displays a different limit every time I fill up at one of these self-service thingymabobs, it’s normally about the £500 mark, but i’ve seen it as low as £300 and as high as £800. But it’s always a really random figure, like 'Start filling at pump 2, max spend £542. Next day it could be £613. 
This was key fuels , ok first 2 days then come up with that message Friday night

There are (or at least, there may be) several limits in place. Say there’s a £500 daily limit. If you drew £200 worth of fuel at 3pm on a Monday, then went to fill up again at 2pm on Tuesday, the card would show only £300 available. Likewise if there’s say, a £2500 weekly limit, all your fill-ups over the preceding 7 days would affect the current available limit shown on the display.
