They dont even stop for fire engines now

I’m afraid it’s the Daily mail. Or in this case the Daily fail where London is concerned.

Bloody fire engine drivers :unamused: , teararsing about every ■■■■ where, pulling out cutting up, never have a second to spare, and don’t get me started on those ■■■■ ambulance drivers :smiling_imp: .
I just make em wait me, :sunglasses: …I’ve got bog rolls on a timed delivery ffs.!!

Problem is, if the cyclist had been injured the firefighter would have been held liable, even though it was plainly the cyclist’s fault on this occasion. It seems the rule is, the more wheels you have, the greater your liability.

its a big bright red thing with sirens and flashing lights… and even indicators
how many more clues does the thick moron need ■■
I can only hope that those pedestrians were rushing forward to give him a good kicking.

I was having a bad day until I saw this, it made me smile and the more times I watched it, the bigger the smile got,
Hope the fire engine wasn’t damaged, :smiling_imp:

Clearly 100% the cyclists fault, there should be a law to keep idiots like this off the road.

Free road tax. Save the planet by using less gases except the ones squeezing out there arse cheeks then moan when they get squashed. At least they are recyclable. Maybe they are saving the planet after all.

Looks like a deliberate crash for cash stunt by the cyclist.Fire engine was already in the turn when the cyclist obviously accelerated along the inside to create a collision. So there we have it not bright enough to drive or get a decent job looking for an easy pay day and didn’t mind some time in hospital or even ending his zb poverty stricken life to get it.TNCSI sorted.Meanwhile fire engine driver goes off sick with stress and puts in for a transfer to an easier rural station.Everyone wins. :smiling_imp:

In defence the cyclist had the obligatory headphones on .
He doesn’t have wing mirrors so was unable to spot or hear the fire engine approaching .

Sad thing is that the fire engine driver, will more than likely get disciplined for this incident

Going by the wide berth he gave the cyclist and the fact that he was looking in his mirrors because he stopped so quick we can be rest assured the driver is observant like WE are in these vehicles, it just goes to show that the cycling fraternity have no consideration apart from themselves.
Be aware, be VERY aware because we have to think for them to save their lives I’m afraid. Cause they dont give a damm.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking today when stopped at a red light and a cyclist came up the inside and rode right through the light…

[Withdrawn] The Emergency Workers (Obstruction) Act 2006 - GOV.UK

Is this publication more for the idiots that cause problems at the scene where the emergency services are quite often harrassed or even worse attacked?

From twitter
This clip is bizarre.
I think the cyclist did not expect the fire truck to go left, because it’s no-entry. He didn’t see the indicator. He therefore seeks to travel in a straight line, but the vehicle forces him left with almost disastrous consequences.

Emergency workers ‘travelling’ to the scene ?.‘‘Parking where an emergency vehicle can’t get by’’.

Deliberately undertaking an emergency vehicle under blue lights preventing it making a timely indicated left turn and response ?.If I was a copper I’d give it a go with the CPS using the video evidence and I’d guess the particulars provided concerning the collision.

The cyclist appears to be wearing a helmet camera, I’m pretty certain the video footage would show him looking down at the road while trying to build up speed rather than paying attention to what was going on around him.

I bet that video never makes it onto any social network site :grimacing:

Look on the bright side if it was they could add the repair costs to £5,000 fine.
