They come from far and wide!

We’re well known for residential training and we’ve done it for years, attracting folks from all over the UK and beyond.

But today we’ve broken some sort of record, I expect. 4 tests, all passed. 1 from Chorley, 1 from Plymouth, 1 from Aberdeen and 1 from Colchester.

That’s pretty good coverage in my book!

Pete

Well done , good score card!

How do you work out who’s 70mi +?

I intend doing the weekend and test mon, was thinking of staying over sun rather than drive down from sunny Bradford !

Might ask you about an assessment though to see if weekend ok rather than 5 days?

Tons of Q when I pop down open day [emoji3]

I intend doing the weekend and test mon, was thinking of staying over sun rather than drive down from sunny Bradford ! Sorry, don’t understand. With a weekend course you would normally stay until after test on Monday. Prob missed the point.

Might ask you about an assessment though to see if weekend ok rather than 5 days? You’re very welcome. Same amount of training time on both though. Call the office to arrange.

Tons of Q when I pop down open day [emoji3] Look forward to meeting you and hope to be able to answer the questions!

All the best, Pete

Thanks for reply, what I meant was do sat/sun training, travel home Sat night in between , but for test on Monday just find somewhere to stay on the Sunday night .

I knew I hadn’t understood!

Of course you can do that. And, if you’re more than 70 miles away, the night is on us.

Hi Pete,

I was the one from Colchester :grimacing: Have to say what a great set up you have down there, my trainer was Chris for the week and he was excellent. Got 100% on mod 4 on Tuesday and passed my Cat C today with just 1 minor  well chuffed with that p.s Kenny loves keeping those trucks clean doesn’t he

If anyone is considering a residential course down there I would definitely recommend it. All the staff down there are great and are very reassuring, if you have any concerns about anything nothing seems too much bother.

No doubt you will see me down there later in the year for C+E :sunglasses:

Ollie

Thanks Ollie. Congratulations on the pass and thanks for the comments. Hope to see you soon for CE.

Cheers mate,

Yeah was happy with the result :grimacing: nope no more zooming through red lights today hahaaaa! If you see Chris tell him I said thanks for all his help as I didn’t get to see him before I left today.

Good luck for Friday, you’ll be fine.

It just goes to show the good setup you got up there Pete, you will be adding another 375 mile round trip again to your records soon,

Just deciding wether to do a weekend one or week course, not to mention wagon n drag or artic !!!

I would say probably irrelevant where they come from as long as the diary is booked up.

I tend to keep busy from local people but get the odd one or two from further afield. Suppose if I advertised nationally I’m sure I would attract custom from around the UK.

Paul

Il be booking Cat c very soon with you coming from South Wales. Looking forward to it! Wondering wether to catch train up if its close by.

Whhat station is nearest to you? Is it walking distance from there?

Nearest station is Sutton Parkway. It’s on the Robin Hood line between Nottingham and Worksop. 3.6 miles so I wouldn’t walk it but there’s those who would I suppose!

Taxis are reputedly amongst the cheapest in the UK though.

Nearest mainline stations are Chesterfield (11 miles) or Nottingham (20 miles).

Hope this helps, Pete
