These were our fellow drivers. RIP

Very sad to hear, poor chaps have a thankless job as it is, I’d say more thankless than lorry drivers tbh as at least in a wagon your fairly isolated in all regards hey.

Thoughts an prayers to those lost, their families and for all of them who are still carrying on in the job, huge respect too em all [emoji482][emoji636]

The old aren’t supposed to be going anywhere anyway.Going by the numbers surely not parking the buses up isn’t sustainable at least if the plan is to buy time.Life is sweet they should be at home.People can do without buses for now.

Now to get this topic back on track…

My sincere condolences to the families of any bus drivers who have died from COVID-19. :frowning:

A bus company in Derbyshire have just suspended operations after two of their drivers succumbed to Covid 19. They operated around Long Eaton and Sandiacre

Those correctly staying at home dont need buses, tis true. Those who live in cities and work in hospitals etc dont all own cars.
They NEED buses to help us all.
Sharing cramped cars etc is possible, but free buses for essential workers is the way to go.
Who is essential? Does it matter if a few scrotes take advantage? Free travel for all at the moment.

My mrs just walked 7 mile into work today, I’ll have to pick her up tonight as it ent safe to walk back at her time of finish, but
We save fuel, which I hope may help the greater good or who need it.
And its good exercise too, proper social distancing too lol.

We will use the bus once a week just to keep the service coming as there are a lot of seniors who need it, thus, but i agree it should be free or at the very least bottom rate for those who are needed of it to help the rest of us.

Please move this to a separate thread. Don’t destroy other people’s threads by polluting them with that nonsense. The other thread was running nicely with facts and intelligent discussion until you dumped all that sewage upon it. Perhaps a better solution to this problem would be for you to stop the flow of sewage at source, rather than letting it flood everywhere and then have to spend hours mopping it up and depositing it elsewhere. :bulb: :bulb: :bulb: :bulb:
