Where do all the old scrapped fridge trailer cooling units end up, and would one do a job on a house in this weather?
I don’t know,
But what I do know is, the amount of moaning on here about fridges at night on here, your neighbours will love it!

£100 off ebay
we used to use them a few years ago to help cool down mushroom houses in the summer time.
Only £600. For a reverse cycle heat pump that I fitted myself
My bedroom is whatever temp i set it to from 16 to 28 degrees all year round …A good sleep is the most important thing for an old git like me.
We have an air con unit in the bedroom. Wouldn’t be able to sleep without it
29.5*C in my bedroom tonight
Large west facing window (curtains closed all day) and a chalet style bungalow so the south facing roof cuts into the room.
Got ceiling fan going full whack but that doesn’t really cool it.

16* Akuji? That’s cold! In the Winter my home office is comfortable at 21. In this weather if I had ac, 24 is nice. You must have some big leccy bills.

Well I’m quite hot all the time, or so the mrs says and 16deg is just right for me, later on I put the unit in the bedroom for an hour, lovely and chilly when going to bed. I’m saving on gas so it goes on the leccy.
We’ve got a cooler unit at the top of the stairs, I close all the windows and put it on full whack for an hour before bed, good bit of kit.
Another thing you can do is freeze a hot-water bottle and put it under the bed sheets for a few mins before bed, or under you pillow. Just don’t fill it right to the top as water expands when frozen - pop!
You lot ain’t working hard enough
You could put me on a pile of broken glass and I’d still be out like a light come bed time
