Following on from another thread, work have told me they were quoted £16k to replace a thermo king UT Spectrum unit damaged when another driver side swiped the truck. This seems excessive to me given the truck (an 18 plate DAF LF 18t) is probably worth around that price, maybe a little more.
I assume it’s priced so high because Thermo King are basically the only game in town so can dictate pricing.
