who else was in the diversion off the M25 last night?,
Off we went at 22, round the 414 and back down the A1 to South Mimms,
Everyone was behaving themselves, queueing for about 1/2 a mile to the slip road, where the lights at the top let through 2 trucks at a time,
Then along comes the Box Jockey, steaming down the A1 past us all, decides to try & cut in the front of the queue,
To make matters worse, as the queue is hardly moving, he can’t just cut in - so stops, almost rear ended by a puddle jumper, and a couple of cars go swerving around them,

So well done Mr white Merc unit with a ECS box on
How come you went that way?
I went right at roundabout mc Donald’s 4th exit…followed that all the way.ended up coming out threw south Mimms services.
I’m very British when it comes to queues, I wouldn’t dream of pushing in and I’ll even join queues that I don’t want to be in just for the hell of it. The box jockey in question may well have been a buffoon but one thing getting older has taught me is there are two sides to every story; yes he was in the wrong but there are many circumstances that may have shaped his actions.
I don’t really have a problem with people pushing in per se, just not directly in front of me! You’d not get a Rizla between me and the vehicle in front in a queue.

I did ask myself that when I was halfway round, I put it down to part habit(used to do a collection at Hatfield) and part zombie mode (at that 3/4 through shift point), and the fact I had a decker on & knew I had no height issues that way
