There has been a change

After 15 years Truck and Driver has gone under a revamp- comments from here and elsewhere have been taken on board and it is now more driver focused _ it still has the “ooh shiney” as the out of ordinary still appeals to the readers but hopefully a lot more of the content will be more relevant- the first issue of the revamp is on sale now and the next issue will be the 30th anniversary bumper issue so give it a try

Have the van review and Waylon Jennings music reviews been ditched?

And the kids’ scribbles…

Recentish copy I browsed at an MSA was like deja vu. Everything in it had been copied and pasted from these very forums :open_mouth: . Why pay to read what I read here for free 2 months prior? The other two thirds of the mag was adverts. :unamused:

Left hand down!:

aaahhhhh but don’t let a good story get in the way :sunglasses:

I had a quick look through whilst in Taunton services this morning, and apart from the layout not a lot seems different. From what I saw, there were no music reviews, kids’ scribbles or Connors Cruises (thankfully). The editorial was very good (nice bit of BRAKE bashing), still the predictable pimped up Scania with silly colour coded interior taking centre stage, and the obligatory Jennychem advert (which I didn’t mind as one of the “staff” in the photo has bloody cracking norks  ).
Still not enough to buy it but seemed better than before, unlike Trucking which I bought last week as it appeared to be good but wasn’t.

Ohh, I’ll check him out then & report back. The old style was a bit too old school for me but I appreciate older lads may prefer that.
