Hi guys hope someone can help. I failed my theory the other week and one of the questions I think I got wrong as didn’t know nothing about it was the axle that you can move up or down what does it do and when do you need to use it. Any help would be greatful and sorry for the stupid question
Don’t ever remember that one. If its for a rigid then its a lift axle. Its used to spread the weight over both axles. Thats about as far as my knowledge goes on them as I’ve never been taught properly about them. I’ve driven a few with them on. Most of the time I just leave them down.
Don’t recall that question either in any revising I did? What was the question if you can remember ?
Just go for test again what score did you get?
Go through every question and answer so your good to pass next time . Over a 1000 but if you revise them enough you’ll know them all, brain mk1 ■■■■ good at remembering if it’s fed info enough times!
How much revising and mock tests did you do
The lift axel can be on a rigid or CE unit they are there to help spread the weight of the load try drive with them up this will give better traction & save approx 10% of fuel
Most will go down automatically but you can override this if you wish
Hi guys thanks for your help. On my last test I failed it by 2 Q’s and when this one came up I thought to myself I can’t remember seeing this. When I got home I looked at every page in the book and could not find nothing about it But I’m hoping I’ll pass this time round fingers crossed
I passed mine today, and also found a number of questions that wasn’t in the online and App training I was using…Threw me a bit but a lot of it is common sense and making sure you read it and understand it fully. Flagged 6 questions and went back and had a bit of a think after I’d got through all 100. You get plenty of time.
Remember to read the question twice it can help
