Do you have to pass the theory/hazard perception test for cars before being allowed to take āon roadā lessons? Just wondered as its been a while since my car test!

From what i know you donāt have to if your doing car lessons. As iām a ānewbieā on the road and no not your boy racer types 
Dad would bloody kill me But as far as im aware you can take driving lessons for cars and take your theory when the driving school āthinkā you are āreadyā
