Was that the one last night? It were just happening south bound when i passed north bound about 8ish. Smoke covered the motorway, the container and trailer were untouched but the unit was a raging inferno. I wonder how it happened? 
O/S rear brakes, once the fire got hold, whatever was in the trailer then became bloody hard to put out. the load had then to be off-loaded to check each individual pallet. you’ll also find a large new patch of road surface there next time you go over it.
Saw the queues when we went northbound so on the way back down we got off at 22 and back on at 20A as it looked like a bit of a wait to get past it. The diversion route was clear and we sailed round so don’t know why so many were sitting in it.
