It’s a proper dark, miserable rainy day here, I don’t think I’ll be venturing out today. I got an email last night when wifey was out at the pictures from the SAIC i-Smart system of the MG ZS EV saying low key fob battery, I’ve never seen that before, I’ll use the spare keys until I get a battery for it.
First job though is brekkie.

Are they? I might have some of them in the drawer, It’s a feet up day in front of the fire catching up with the Guangzhou car show.
I had a new Merc in 2014 that used to e mail me a similar message, the first was at three months old and I changed the battery (think that was a 2023 also) I got the same message at six months old and I complained at the main dealers.
Ended up with a new fob under warranty, apparently they are a few hundred quid to replace.
Roast beef cooking , was reduced from £24 to £12 , we cook 4 roasts , 2 for today & 2 for tomorrow , saves wife , can watch the bill , will be plenty for 2 meals & some sarnies for me
Veg , savoy cabbage , cauliflower & green beans , since a kid I’ve always loved my roasts with lashings of gravy

That new stand mixer I won on eBay t’other day arrived this morning, Can’t believe I won it for 31 quid. It’s my Crissy present & will get a lot of use by me.

What a morning for a test ride , took out Honda hornet 1,000 sp , cheap £ 9,999, not sure about the colour , but only colour in sp , power didn’t really feel like a fireblade engine , but hard to tell in wet , didn’t want to bin it on a test ride , did tell me I’m passed sports bikes , felt much more comfortable .
I’m not a biker but looks good
If you like it why not buy it , it’s your money
I’m still not sure b/e , it didn’t really excite me like a 1,000 should , but hard to tell in wet
I just have to make sure 100% this time it’s the right bike as wife won’t wear changing again in 8 months time , going to have plenty of test rides
A very underrated bike imo is the old 600 Fazer. Revvy as ■■■■ but a lot of fun. Totally surprised me riding a mates one. Much better than his srad.
The fire station does sell memorabilia, however I’m glad it was shut when I went so didn’t feel uncomfortable getting a photo
