Again ,to-days news brings little joy to those who wish to get
across the channel to MAIN-LAND–EUROPE. The parking system
is at work on the M20 because the amount of customers exceeds
the capacity that is avaiable on the SHUTTLEand onTHE FERRYS.
If the repairs are going to take so much more time why not use
the dock in zeebrugge again to help ease out the congestion??

******** CALAIS UPDATE — 1700 HRS - 18TH FEBRUARY
DOVER — CALAIS
At the moment there is no Operation Stack for ferry traffic (but it could come back at anytime) but the delays at Dover are starting to build up since our last information notice, and are currently a few hours.
The trip between Dover and Calais is still taking much longer than the usual 90 minutes as some of the ships have to wait outside Calais for a berth to become available. So please be prepared for a long transit time between the two ports.
CALAIS — DOVER
There is approximately a 3 hour delay in Calais currently for freight, but please bear in mind this weekend is the return of the half-term traffic and we expect the port will be extremely busy with traffic returning to the UK all weekend… B U T The good news is that once the ship leaves Calais there are no further delays as it will cross in regulation time and get straight into Dover
