Robroy. You’re a lucky chap if you could take Mrs Robroy and have enough storage even in that size of cab. I would struggle get all Mrs OT’s stuff in for a week end. She always takes more than needed

We’re never going to get such things this side of the pond but realistically something along the lines of a Volvo XXL or Scania Longline should become the norm for us ‘tin box’ dwellers in this day and age. My early nights out were spent in the back of a BRS Rental 16 t Merc day cab on an army camp bed if possible depending on how much space I had in the back, this was summer ‘87 and thoroughly enjoyed it, most nights half ■■■■■■ having been to a local pub when we could park almost anywhere. Progress?
