I have the full Sweeney collection, including the pilot episode. Absolutely the best TV cop show ever, although the last episode really ■■■■■■ me off.

One of the things about ITV showing all these old shows back to back was you realise that there was only about 10 actors in each episode.
Monday - Regan and Carter puch a load of villans silly and tell them their nicked.
Wednesday - Regan and Carter jump in their car the main villan is now the driver and the rest of the gang is now “back up”
Same with the Proffesionals and Minder - it’s all the same actors.
The episode ’ Nightmare’ is on ITV4 tonight ,nice 6x4 lhd transcon in it
In the very first episode of the Sweeney they used my mates lorry it was a lwb d type 1969/70 it belonged to vick maine who was in the tyre game they was filming nearby and asked if they could use it
