Dont buy the sun

Meanwhile, in my old neighbourhood in New Zealand…

Now that’s how it should be done!

I see that this story still hasn’t got any actual information on just what exactly are the laws being broken but anyway I guess the Sun are more than happy to seize an opportunity for their readers to make mildly racist comments about eastern europeans.

Typical report by the sun, merc balancing 15ft high in germany :unamused: :unamused: thhe mind boggles.

If you look at The Sun you’ll go blind.

This sort of thing was common in the '70’s when Saudi’s would buy a load of Mercedes vehicles from used bvehicles sites in Germany and load a couple of trucks onto an artic with a couple of cars on the top.
They would be dribven all the way to Saudi on German custom number plates,(Hence the term of Z platers).
They would then be used buy the bedouins, convert the rigids into tankers for supplying water and fuel to the bedouin camps.
The German pollce never gave them much grief back then.

When I was doing Spain in the 80,s/90,s we would normally see Klyne trucks from Holland exporting trucks/cars/plant this way , I have even seen a tractor unit without its wheels held onto the chassis of another tractor unit with twisted reinforcing rod , with the removed 5th wheel of the "carrying "tractor unit wired onto the chassis of the carried unit !
