Someone must have been on the crack pipe when they designed those 6 mini roundabouts in Hemel, was laughing to myself all the way round while trying to work out where I needed to be. Bet there’s loads of accidents there.

i work there all the time,the magic roundabout works really well never seen any accidents.
ran out of diesel on there once though 
Used to use it all the time. Only accident I’ve seen are people doing a U turn to go back up the duel towards M1. They normally forget the indicator!!

Heheh, I’ll never forget coming across it for the first time back in the 70s, two-up on a 'bike. Discombobulated, I was. Luckily it was 2 in the morning so I had time to figure it out. Crazy but it works well when you get it.
There was a very similar one at canvey island.
I’m not that traveled up until recently really used to just sit in the tramlines on the motorway for years, which was nice.

I live near Swindon at the min and find their roundabout utterly awful! This from someone who drove Hemels roundabout every day for years after passing my car test!
I think it because you can see the whole roundabout and anticipate too much. Hemels is easier to treat each one as a individual. ( if this makes sense!) lol
