The Sister

of “Costa Concordia” is called “Costa Allegra”.

The Company is called “Costa Crociere”.
Costa means Coast
And i see a Problem storming towards them.
First is the Acident od the Costa Concordia not only expensiv.I also will cost a lot on the Battle at Court, and it will give Trouble getting Customers in the Future.
Now was a Fire on Board of costa Allegra why the Ship is turning in Wind&Waves around without controll,No Hot Food,No Toilet and no Light.
Situation will not go the better very quick as Recovery will need a minimum of 30 Hour,On that Island is nothing much they can use,and on the Main Island were they will be carried are not enough Accomontations and not enough Flights.
But they have Time to organise anything.
And there is another Treath against them.
They are in the Water, controlled by Pirates.
Now,there are an armed Anti-Pirates Security Team from the Italian Forces on Board, but they could struggle against Rockets.Just think how much you need to do to park for 11 Hour safe in a Layby.

i wonder how many people just missed the ferry?

“Costa Crociere”

I think you will find that translates to Price of Food Stuff

Btw All ships must have an emergency lighting system in place in the event of a total power blackout

I shouldn’t worry too much about how must this is costing. Costas parent company controls 49% of the world cruise market. They’re not short of cash.

And it’s not really a sister ship, more an old Aunt

It’s rumoured that their next ship will be named after the salvage operators, “Costa Fortune” .

It was a Container Ship and went re-build to a 28600 Ton Cruiser in 1992.

Isn’t it bad luck to re-name a ship?

I used to think that but it seems not anymore. Almost every ferry over a certain age has been through several name changes.

How many old ferrys are any good? Catching and old ferry is definitely bad luck for the poor sods that have to put up with it.
