Since I am back in uni, I work in my place on casual basis - and since I cannot really do the longest runs due to the classes at the uni, sometimes it’s very quiet for me, as local jobs are very unpredictable. So I have a deal with my boss, that when it’s quiet I go to agency or some other places I used to work and take some shifts here and there to keep me going.
Today after very quiet two weeks, I went to register with two agencies and then to one place I used to work. In this last place they told me that it’s very handy that I came, and they asked me to come tomorow to drive for them. Then just after I left, I got a call from agency offering me some choice of jobs, but I had to put them down since I am booked for tomorow already. Then when I got home, I got a phone call from my place offering me a longish run within the UK…
Newly back on the agency circuit last 6 weeks and have noticed much more Polish than last time 2 years ago. Hopefully fulltime job by next week if some Pole don’t get it.
nearly there:
Go back to Poland and it won’t be a problem you need to deal with. Sorted
Booring. Can you think something new, fresh and fun instead?

Or another Briton, what is, statistically most likely, but seem you have forgotten that possibility. Anyway, I keep fingers crossed for your new job.
Well, I am not really moaning seriously, I am just casualy annoyed by Murphy’s laws that works perfectly as usual
And as for others - I wish everyone well, and I think there is job around, it’s just instead of browsing some website, you have to move your bum and drive around speaking to people face to face - all old hands of Trucknet always were saying that this is the best way to get job, and my example proves it’s true.
