If this happens and they go independent - what effect is this likely to have on rule sets? Obviously they’ll still be in The EU but in terms of domestic rules?
Just thinking with my theory approaching around about just after the vote, whether some questions cropping up might be new/invalid or not in what i’m currently learning.

Why would Scotland be in the EU they are a new country so would have to apply like any other & be voted in they may adopt the EU driving rules but would need permission this has already been discussed btw they dont have a currency yet as England said they cant use the pound
Your theory test will still be the same as if they do vote for independence it will not happen overnight there will be a transitional period

Ok cheers, will just keep my eyes and ears open to any new regs!
I would imagine it will be a considerable time before any changes are seen if there is a YES vote.
It will mean that English operators will need an international O licence to run into Scotland. It couldl also mean that we wont be able to train drivers from Scotland as they wont hold a UK licence.
Who knows what the drivers’ hours will be? If they go for EU rules, that’s easy. But domestic? Watch this space!
