Can you guess if i passed my Class C or not?

Yes I did, on my first attempt with 3 minors! So may I please have the fireworks ROG?

Waited a long time for this, so hope people don’t mind I started a new thread. (Tough if you do! :grimacing:) I had a great drive, the sort you wish for before the test, and while I’m chuffed to only have 3 minors (which I fully accept), I think I could have got that figure lower if I wasn’t bricking it throughout the! :stuck_out_tongue:

So in Oscar’s style, I’d like to dedicate my pass to David my Instructor who was perfect, Pete Smythe (the man himself), and ALL of the staff at PSTT. I really can’t thank them enough for all of they help and support in getting me my Class C licence, they were brilliant!

So if you are looking for a quality trainer with quality kit who’s only goal is your success, I can’t recommend them enough. I’ll be going back for my C&E!

Please I beg you, no applause! Oh, OK if you must!

Very well done mate!

Very well done mate!

Thanks Beaver! - I hope I don’t let it go to my head and get even gobbier!

congrats dude, just seen your thread lol, nice one, hopefully i’ll bump into you on the road somewhere (Not literally) :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha…you need class 1 to be as gobby as the Beaver.

Well done  glad you got on well at PSTT I couldn’t fault them also.

ROG has either fallen asleep (frequent :grimacing: ) or the nurse has confiscated his keyboard for the night (daily :grimacing: ) so I’m on firework duty this evening.

:grimacing: CONGRATULATIONS on passing your LGV β€œC” test
  :grimacing:   :grimacing:

That was a rather impressive score if you don’t mind me saying so!!

Nice line in fireworks Dave!

Congratulations on the pass, Evil, and thanks for the kind comments. Pete

Thanks Dave, and I hope the nurse doesn’t keep ROG’s keyboard for long, as this place would fall to pieces without him. It was carnage last week, and the lack of ROG’s wisdon felt like the world was about to end!

I’m chuffed with only 3 minors, but also a little annoyed with myself that I could have avoided at least 2 of them, as they were down to self imposed pressure! But I’m the one who got it wrong, so no arguments about the awarding of the marks!

Thanks for the fireworks, you never know I might get 2 sets now (Although ROG may get me back for saying ASH001 is his prodigal son!)

Surprised you didn’t have a giggle at my first experience (idiots experience) of a 4 over 4 gearbox which I posted Friday.

Thanks again Dave!

Peter Smythe:
Nice line in fireworks Dave!

Congratulations on the pass, Evil, and thanks for the kind comments. Pete

I don’t do kind Pete, I’m 44 and say what I think! (I’m too old to care about impressing anyone now!)

Well done  glad you got on well at PSTT I couldn’t fault them also.

Cheers mate, and it’s a feeling that only people chasing this can really appreciate. I didn’t care how many minors there were really. The only words that mattered were β€œI’m happy to say you’ve passed” Amazing! And also great for the wallet!

Nice one Dan, Dan, Dan, from now on, everyone is Dan! :open_mouth:

Yeah, C+E the new goal, until this evening not even considered it!

On Sunday my instructor said β€œFancy having a look in the artic?”

My answer: Does a bear β– β– β– β–  in the woods? :open_mouth:

Wow, it felt like a small caravan for someone who hasn’t been in an artic before. I was shocked that I could stand up inside with an inch or 2 to spare, and I’m 6’5"! :open_mouth: The bed was also bigger than I thought, quite wide and longer than a normal bed. Suits me sir!

As for driving position, it felt a lot higher than the disco wagon parked behind it that i passed my Class C in.

Overall from just sitting in it, it felt like a whole new class of vehicle!!! :open_mouth:

mmmm - there must be a reason for that then! LOL
