Chippenham didn’t want it but Avonmouth did so 1,000 jobs to fill …bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35370942
Gregories ?
Good news particularly for those who work as drivers in the area, firstly they will have to pay well if they employ direct, other employers will have to do the same to retain staff and secondly the junction off the M49 must surely now be built the A403 is in a right state and no longer fit for purpose.
In Hatfield were Space too. and we have 2 Junctions
I hear they are building new junction on Tblisis ring road too .
Maybe u should go and have a look ?

It’s all been passed apparently but don’t know when they’re starting it. Take a look here…google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j& … 4388,d.d24
This was mentioned on the radio yesterday, apparently it was going to be built in Chippenham and they had a bloke on from the Range and was asked “why not Chippenham” and he turned round and said we had a better offer from Avonmouth
. . . And remember children, if YOU don’t need it then WE don’t sell it!!!
Like bread, or milk…

Chippenham didn’t want it there was a petition up against it and if you ever drove around there on the A350 you’ll see make shift signs saying “say no to The Range” they obviously didn’t want the work for whatever reason.
To be honest I wouldn’t have thought Chippenham was a great place as wouldn’t think there would be much in the way of potential drivers and warehouse staff living in the town.
Up and running next year according to the owner.
approx 1100 jobs across the board .

I don’t really get what the appeal is of the Range a load of art and craft stuff and some cheap tools and other bits. I wouldn’t say it was particularly cheap for the type of low quality stuff it mostly is.

I very much doubt even half of that figure will come to fruition
