Sometimes it lets me stay in a while. Tonight tried logging in 3 times and it’s kicked me straight out 
. I’m running Norton Internet Security with firewall. Turning the Firewall off doesn’t help.
The first time you logged in, someone else logged in at exactly the same time. You both disappeared at the same time

After that, no real idea

Sometimes a pop-up stopper can affect you in the chat room. I also get something from Spybot S & D coming up, to do with certain cookies occaisionally. Maybe that has something to do with it. AOL can be a bit iffy about chatrooms, in some circumstances as well.
Are these suggestions any help?
I used AOL when I first went on line, but got rid of it soon after. To much “Granny State” feel to it.
I am on Wanadoo BB now, after being on their Dial-Up for years.
I have also got IE6 and Mozilla Firebird, I use either depending on what button I hit. With no probs on either.
I have got the Google search bar, with pop-up stopper.
I use Panda AV and firewall, backed up by Ad-Aware and Spybot S & D.
Apart from occaisionally getting knocked back to a different tabbed page, when on the dial-up, after the pop-up stopper blocked some pop-ups. All I had to do was click the chat page tab, to get back in.
Here’s some ideas:
Turn off the pop-up blocker.
Configure the firewall to accept this site.
Make sure that the anti-virus programme doesn’t also have a pop-up stopper.
Turn off any firewall that windoze has (XP has one). You don’t want 2 firewalls on at the same time.
