0Dennis Do you think this classic motor might belong to C/F, ■■?, The reg points to him being the owner , But there again I doubt if he would have any feeling for a good old British Made Motor Do You, ■■?, Regards Larry.

Aye Larry, that No.plate would sure look “just the ticket” on his Reliant Robin but he would totally be out of his depth if it was still on the ERF,he’d have to get someone else (if that were possible!)to drive it for him and no doubt he would have the passenger side window giving any spectators the benefit of his rantings and diatribe !!! can you imagine it!!!Cheers Dennis.

But Dennis history shows that if ERF had fitted V8 turbo Detroits instead of (zb) 180 Gardners they would still be in business today and you might well have seen CF in the passenger seat of that ERF with is stick on steering wheel stuck to the dash trying to convert any pedestrians who would listen

But if said ERF had been fitted with a V8 Deroit then those pedestrians would never have been able to hear his rantings. So in a funny sort of a way he turns out to be right; Detroits are best because we couldn’t hear CF over the noise.

Ah! but would you be prepared to undergo a DNA test, provided of course,we could catch “CF”'s mother swinging about in the branches in Wipsnade so we could verify said samples !     Bewick.

Having read many of his comments on this site I have to say I think he is a true visionary.
No one else could ever expect to have such far reaching knowledge, and I can certainly say had he entered politics the world would have been a different place.
He could have cured all problems in the middle East as oil reserves would have been fully used up by now with use of the Detroit V8 in the most common of vehicles, so taking away the power of the oil producers, and his unique views on protectionism would have guaranteed full employment within our shores as all individuals would be hard at work with spades digging to encourage the growth of crops to feed this nation. Hard labour would once again be the norm as oil and other fuel had cleverly been used up long ago giving us clean air once again.
Immigration would have been cured as all none British would have left our shores long ago to leave us to fend for ourselves.
All I can now say is let us raise our glasses and drink a toast to this great man, and hope he lives a long and active life communicating on this website, in the knowledge that he is dedicating his life to our education by his wise words.
