Driving down a main road to a delivery @ 5:30am and some bloke washing his car
Also bearing in mind it was pitch black
It never ceases to amaze me the number of people out walking dogs at four thirty in the morning.
Owls! Magnificent birds appearing in the headlights momentarily like flying ghosts
I was out in the early morning walking my dog when I saw someone at work. 4 o`clock ! What a time to be at work ! Amazing.
On 2330Stena boat from NI to Cairnryan and had to get up for â– â– â– â– down drain at side of boat 1am.
Spied a fella polishing his truck wheels on vehicle deck same time!!!
It was raining in Scotland!!![emoji28]

When I worked on the milk, went to a house about 4am one Monday with a couple of pints of semi and two guys are loading a van on the drive. The woman that lived there was stood by the door, weeping. Morning, what ya doing up so early? I asked. Grabbed the empty bottles, see ya, then realised what the two guys are loading into PRIVATE AMBULANCE. Yep, her husband had snuffed it overnight! Funny thing was when I was collecting the money the previous Friday, he looked a bit rough then.
A summer morning, went to a house that had tall conifers around the garden. The front door opens and out steps a woman about 45, she leans in and kisses the bloke inside. Morning! I says. They both looked shocked, then the penny dropped! She was a customer at the start of the round and her husband worked nights.
Yesterday morning around 0530 when delivering in leeds there was an old bloke,id say in his 70s,racing around the paths/roads on his mobility scooter smoking a joint.
Then stopped n stared at me unloading then carried on…
I had to chuckle

Coming of the M18 on to the M180 about 10 years back about 02.30-03.00 just as Drove on to the M180 the WHOLE road was alive with RATS thousands of them moving across the motorway North to South.

I parked up at Wisely last night, started this morning at 3am and the car park was awfully busy. what on earth are people doing in a wooded car park at that time in the morning? I was going to flash full beam to see what was going on but needed to be on a flyer.
