The quality of MP’s from all parties is at an all time low however if your MP’s are committing offences while being a serving MP that are punishable by prison I’d say you are in just as big a hole.I’m defending no one…
All bad MPs should be punished according to the rules and laws in place.
Pity that not everyone thinks that way.Paterson is no longer an MP so the right result was arrived at in the end yet Webbe is still an MP the whole system needs independant oversight.

Webbe was suspended from the Labour party when charged, and expelled after her conviction.
Parties can’t unseat MPs, nor should they. Too much scope for abuse of power.

Independent oversight of MPs is the way to go I agree.
It seems Kwasi Kwartang only wants independent oversight from someone he and his party likes.
And Johnson too thinks his finances on the flat refurb, should be exempt from the gaze of Kathryn Stone.
