A nice sunny morning, heading from Beaune across to Autun
Vineyards as far as you can see
And nice quiet villages,very picturesque.
With some very narrow streets
With some very tight corners, this was a 90 degree left, followed by a right and another left.Luckily the traffic had stopped just around the corner.
Heading out of Autun to the delivery point.
The long straight roads of France, here coming from Roanne to deliver orange juice to St.Alban Les Eaux
Just along this road I spied this sitting in a field. It’s a Berliet Jim,but not as we know it!
This is a huge memorial to the Battle of the Somme which is alongside the D977 near Sommepy-Tahure
Saw this very smart looking DAF in Wellen, though straight thru’ exhausts should really only be on V8’s
Loaded metal boxes here in Haiger,Germany,it’s a real pig of a place to get to,and once here,it’s a pig to turn around.
The metal boxes are for storing parts, this lot was for the Faymonville factory in Bullingen,Belgium
As well as making modular trailers for heavy haulage operations, they also make a lot of glass trailers
This pair of MAN’s are waiting to be fitted out and mated to trailers
Whilst waiting for customs paperwork in Le Creusot, this dutch registered DAF came around the corner with part of a wind-turbine tower
Then another one turned up…
…and another
Following another of our trucks into the tunnels under Liege
This tractor was pulling a full size tri-axle bulker loaded with top soil, that’s some weight!!!
