The last few days at work

I have witnessed…

  • A driver refuse to take out a wagon because it has a manual gearbox. “Don’t know how to use it”. Straight forward 16 speed 4 over 4. :open_mouth:
  • A driver refuse to take out a Scania. “I’ve not been trained on a semi-automatic”. :open_mouth:
  • A driver forget the suzies when uncoupling, then drive off at speed causing carnage. Then tried to tidy them up on the unit and presumably hope nobody noticed… the end of the ABS lead he left behind on the trailer might be a give away somethings gone a miss.

With the first two I really had to button my mouth and count to ten. I just want to weep for the calibre of so many drivers, sorry, steering wheel operatives today. :unamused:

well my week was the worst seen aftermath of a crash on the a31 coxbridge dead girl 11 years old dead in the carriageway chucked out of car and paramedics working on her mother for a hour in front of me worst thing ive ever seen on the road

And here I am thinking I had a bad week. I was going to complain about the cold…
did the mother survive?

heres the article she survived the other passenger was a toddler they took him away in first ambulance
no other car involved just the silver polo getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey- … ar-8260754

Ive heard a agency driver refuse to take out a mb axor because he said it was too high and what would happen if he fell out, nowt to do with a spanking fm being parked next to it,they swapped motors for him because it was a bum on seat and nobody could cover the job, when the volvo driver turned up expecting his own motor with his gear in it had gone down the road with the agency driver with a big smile on his face :smiling_imp:

Thats awful, and just before crimbo too :frowning: that said, if she got thrown from the vehicle i would suspect that she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, or at the very least wearing it correctly :imp: :imp:
