Hope it goes as well with you as can be,I wish the greatest sucsess with the op. mate.Werll buddy I do still see Ian most weekends,he is well,Im sure Dave has told you that Ian an myself both have hogs and we ride them on every week end that the sun shines,hay gotta stay a bit of a rebel 'ay. Ian’s bike is a heritge softail and mine is a Battistini’s chopper,hay gotta still try to be Peter Fonda or Dennis Hopper.

Just to let people know Colin has had an operation to relive some of the pain and apparently it was a good success…He has also got the holiday booked for next year !!! Best of luck buddy…
Following from the above post- the various truck forums and other groups have raised enough for Colins family to go on holiday together and have some memories to cherish- thanks to all that contributed

It was 18mths ago that they reached their target.
You can still donate to the PDF - Professional Drivers Foundation - which helps drivers / families of drivers with similar stories.
And if you want to make it enjoyable too, come to the charity gig in Feb in Cannock, it’s generally just a massive get together, take the ■■■■ out of Shuttlespanker and get ■■■■■■ and bid crazy amounts on stuff that’s been donated.
A thoroughly enjoyable night and for a good cause too

Colin and his family had their holidays of memories- the funds via here , and a significant donation from the PDF went a long way to make sure it happened- sometimes you guys can make a difference.
Please pass on my best wishes for what they’re worth and a donation has been made to PDF admin woman assures me.

Ah thats good that colin has found the strength for facebook, I expect he will be post some pictures and give personal thanks on here and the other foruns that gave so generously to help him have his holiday.

I’ve only just found this thread too. Really glad that the family had the holiday and that Collin’s still around. Hope he’s not going through it too much. Brings you down to earth when you sit around feeling sorry for yourself because of a relatively minor illness.
