The joys of being a binman!

Always said there’s 2 jobs I’d never do in driving,Binman and bus driving(because I hate people).

Dear Biffa,

Have you considered not collecting bins on (narrow) main roads during the morning rush hour, causing massive holdups when people need to get to work/school? I know your crews are accustomed to starting at 0730, and knocking of at 1400, but there is no reason why they can’t start earlier or later, and finish later.

Meet us half way.

Crikey! I wonder why they don’t ‘accidentally’ roll a bin in the path of the maniacs.

Maybe Biffa could tell their drivers not to pull away whilst traffic is passing them.

Start earlier, office worker dullards would moan about being woken at the crack of dawn (7am) (■■■■ off and get a proper job). Start later and you’d ‘interfere’ with ‘their’ roads while they’re picking up their kids who are too lazy to walk home.

I used to be a taxi driver so I used to hit bin rounds several times a morning, you REALLY don’t lose a lot of time if you just ■■■■■■■ wait a few minutes to pass safely. If it’s bin day, then, I don’t know? Leave the house 5 minutes sooner? These drivers’ inability to plan their journey properly is not the concern of the binmen (and pedestrians) whose safety is being put at risk.

I couldn’t be a bin man. Or maybe I could - if the office tolerated me lobbing ■■■■■ at people who drive on the pavement.
