I got a start a few weeks ago as a new commercial driver.
Steep learning curve but never tried blagging told the truth about my experience.
Had a few mistakes along the way.
Every time you make a mistake it has an effect on your day and week to try and catch up with the lost time.
I can see why employers aren’t keen on giving new guys a start.
I thought it would be a piece of ■■■■ but there is a hell of a lot to learn.
I passed my CE Jan 2013 started working early April that year yep a few mistakes nowt major just a lot of newbie stuff but never been out of work
Not always easy for newbies some agencies will also want experience & checkable now
After you pass go out knocking on doors looking but then sometimes it not what you know but who
