Stopped on their this morning for a 45, I must say I’m very impressed. It must be five years or so since I last called in, and back the it was very run down.
Someone clearly is putting their hand in their pocket cos theirs a lot of work going on at the mo, but what I’ve seen so far is all good.
New restraunt area, which is clean and serves good food. It also has a bar too!
As for overnight parking looks like tha is still being worked on with a lot of ground work going on, so all in all the future looks good for the hollies, well done to the people responsible.
I agree, used it a few times in the last year - not overnight, just to stop - and it’s pretty damned good now.
I think it was worth putting their hand in their pocket when you see the number of trucks parked in there at night now, compared to 2 years ago when it was about 5 trucks
They are only laying concrete at the top end near the cafe the rest is staying the same dusty dirty bumpy crap the security guy told me they have get taxed if they do the lot so what you see is all they are gonna do

Apparently one of the items on the menu is called ‘The Last Supper’. And you get wine with your meals.
I reckon he means Lincoln Farm, that’s deffo The Holies with all the Godsquad stuff and bibles on the wall, bit different to the den of vice it was in the 80s 
I stopped there last night ,very nice .Had a nice beef dinner, a couple of pints and some friendly banter with some drivers .I grew up in that area and used to frequent that den of iniquity when i was a teenager ,it’s changed a lot now .

Yes. Me ! I still go in there though as its decent and 24hrs. Apparantly the blocking people in by parking is in full flow each night whilst the work is getting done.
Guess who owns it… Fred Done the bookmaker (so i was told by the staff). Hence he money being spent on it.
The truckers rest on the other hand is virtually emty each night. Every saturday i pass there they have several cars in there parked across the yard so you wouldnt get trucks parked up there. I dont know why that happens though
