hiya,
You can sleep peacefully Nosser I could never be a Tory, a member of
the Monster Raving Looney Party maybe, I’d feel at home with those
fellows/females, Home rule for Chester le Street I say.
thanks harry, long retired.
At least I got a smile out of you, but a bit " Laboured"

Well that makes three of us that won’t vote Tory. If someone held a gun to my head and said vote for them, I would tell them to shoot me.
Cheers Dave.
I reckon those rich kids in the cabinet, should live in the real world for a year with the average wage, then they would know what people are suffering on a low wage. Then they wouldn’t be so bloody pompous, and Soften their hearts a little.
They should be made to live on the lowest wages paid,in the area they live in for one year Norm, without any income support or help. Just let them have a reality check, too see how they like it in the real world.
Cheers Dave.

He was probably watching the football on TV Larry, especially the game at Tromso in Norway,so that he could have a scotch to keep out the cold.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
No joy Larry, the lottery ticket if I had it has now been recycled in the bin
and likely under hundreds of tons of rubbish in a landfill site, and Dave it’s
immaterial of the weather hot or cold whether I have a wee dram or not a
glance in the direction of the “drinks thingy” tends to make me reach for a
lead crystal glass and fill it up to the brim if the wife isn’t watching, I only
fill it halfway drink it in the standing position and fill the other half before
I return to a seating position, but I have to be careful she’s not looking or a
thick ear would be the end result.

You certainly have the job sussed down to a fine art Harry. You should copyright all your artful dodges and sell them to young blokes.
Cheers Dave.
hiya,
Dave, the stuff is all learned from the guys on here, when working I was innocent
and totally incapable of fiddling, my ex’s claims were as pure as driven snow and
were never queried, yes I’ve certainly been corrupted since I joined you lot
.

hiya,
Bloody hell I forgot you might look in Fred
Been over to Burnley today
to the hospital there, My younger brother is quite poorly in there they moved
him from Blackburn yesterday until they look into his case at Preston one day
next week, a worrying time for his only family his daughter and me of course,
tell you what the round trip takes it out of me now it’s only about 240 miles in
total but hard work for me now, I used to knock that many miles up before my
brekkie in the old days, I hate to admit it 5 hrs behind the wheel isn’t for me
if I can get out of it, but it’s a case of needs must and most likely it will be the
same for several weekends to come.
thanks harry, long retired.

Here’s some Holly for you Harry.
Cheers Dave.
Harry that Dave should not be putting things like that
on for you at your age anything can happen thinking of
getting your laughing gear round that could send you into
overdrive,Neautral is best for you Harry “eh”

Freddie.
Sorry also to here that you brother is poorly Harry. Hope this pretty piece of Holly will bring some much needed cheer to you.
Cheers Dave.
hiya,
Methinks neutral and parked up is the best bet for me now, if I was
a dog the vet would do the honourable thing and put me down.

I think a lot of us old lads are the same now, we can do it if we have to but we would prefer not to. we’ve done our miles, leave it to the young uns to get a bit of experience in and battle with todays conditions. I’m off to Birminham on Thursday for a jolly boys outing (actually it’s a pub crawl p*ss up) but I’m going on the train…FIRST CLASS
Sit back and let somebody else do the driving.
Sorry about your brother Harry, my young brother had a brain op in July and went home a month ago, he has carers in three times a day, but he has been improving but slowly. I am booked to see him on the7th Dec, this is the third time, twice he has been in a wheelchair and got back on his feet. So I can unstand how you are feeling, myself I don’t spend a minute behind the wheel, I go by train.

hiya,
The powers that be are looking into my brothers illness tomorrow it is confirmed
it’s a brain tumour I just hope they can do something for him his daughter has to
be there so I should get to know something around lunchtime tomorrow it’s very
worrying for me being so far away I just can’t nip round to see him as much as I’d
like, but thanks for the thought Norm.

Norman Ingram:
Just hope you have good news, if he has a operation, I hope he has a speedy recovery.

hiya,
Not looking good Norm there’s going to be several weeks of radiotherapy,
they’ve told him even if that works there’s only a chance he’ll last beyond
twelve to eighteen months, his daughter seems to think he’ll have already
forgotten what the doctors have told him, his memory is so short-lived at
the moment maybe it’s a good thing he doesn’t remember too much.
