Cheers Dave.

hiya,
I’ll bet Norm’s Missus is keeping him pretty reclusive at the moment
or should that read exclusive, she’ll be needing quite a bit of TLC at
the moment, but he can cope.

Fair play Harry,he’s followed his wedding vows " in sickness and in health " and he bets on a a horse for her.
Cheers Dave.

Yes lads had abet,   and lavished out £2.95p for cod chips & mushy peas for my darling wife :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: I cursed because I got a horse pipped by a inch and it was 25/1 and I had a 25/1 & x/30 winners, cleared my stake and a small profit, but if the other had come in, it would have been several hundreds. Yes Harry I still can move in upper & lower circles     and most of my middle east money spent on the wetroom.    But I will have to get serious when wife is better on her feet,   and start drawing some money out from my favourite bank called Ladbrokes, had a rotten year in 2013, I was £4.73p down on all the bets I made, :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: I could go into liguidation if I don’t get my racing brain into gear.

I’m more likely to go into liquidation than yo Norm.I spend £4.00 a week on the lottery and won about four tenners last year,so by my reckoning that makes me £168.00 down.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
I’ve been “liquidated” ever since I hit pension age.
thanks harry, long retired.

I ain’t skint Harry, but I’ve never been rich. Its better to be healthy than wealthy.
Chees Dave.

hiya,
I’m not totally skint Dave but very very nearly, and not being very healthy
I haven’t got a lot going for me, Ah’ I do happen to be still breathing that’s
a plus I suppose, Oh’ and I’ve eaten my Sunday lunch, there’s a lot of people
going hungry so things aren’t too bad I reckon.

Keep breathing and waking up in the mornings and your halfway there Harry.I’ve had a couple of scares with my accident and health, but I’m still breathing.
Cheers Dave.

Good news lads, I’ve got my annual state pension increase, happy days :unamused: …£10.25…A MONTH.
Bad news lads, the new council tax bill has eaten the pension rise…just like that.
We are doomed, nowt for it, I’m going to have to try and find her a job. Any suitable suggestions for an old 73 year old will be welcomed She’s a good worker. :stuck_out_tongue:
And now we hear from the media that MP’s ARE DEMANDING a £10/20 thousand pound per annum salary increase. :imp: :imp: That’s on top of the current £65k+ that they are on now PLUS expenses.
My increase?? £125 a year. :frowning:

hiya,
Bit out of the area for your “Good Lady” G O M but there’s a job going with my
“Old Lady” on a coal round, good worker Eh’ there’s a few tower blocks on the
round and I know for a fact the lift’s aren’t working.
thanks harry, long retired.

Hmn, it’s a thought Harry BUT, she’s not keen on nights out and I fear it would be too far to travel every day, she’d want to do dodgy nights fiddling back down home and I fear her push bike wouldn’t be suitable for yon A1(M). But thanks for the thought, if things get desperate she’ll just have to do it. Hell I’m reduced now to drinking Bells Blended, it’s weeks since I had a drop of Laphroaig. :frowning:

hiya,
Brian, wrap her a butty in a road map and tell “on yer bike” and don’t return
until you’ve got yourself a job, she should be ashamed of herself reducing you
to drinking the “blends” instead of a decent single malt, you’re losing your grip
man I thought us burned out old wagon drivers was made out of sterner stuff.
