Still out and about chaps, still having a sip to keep out the cold,
shovel to hand should I be needed to dig Chester le Street out if
it becomes snowed in but not single-handedly I hope, we haven’t
had much snow here as yet, so am a little bit redundant at the
moment, but as I remember from my scouting days the slogan
“Be Prepared”.

Glad to see you are still about Harry.We have still got a good covering of snow here,it has thawed a bit today,with the main roads fairly clear now.The side roads have a thick covering of icy hard pack snow on them,with more forecast for tomorrow.

Norm’s a tee-totaller Larry my man, he couldn’t stand the pace of turning
out with the “big boys” but he’s a canny lad and he’d be made very welcome
and he could bring the Colleen there is always a female or two to have a bit
of “craic” with, he did buy my breakfast once at The Lincoln Farm Cafe I did
notice he checked his change down to the last ha’penny before leaving the bar
though, you never know he might just make the scene and do his rendition of
the “sand dance” and the “desert song” but I’m not clearing up after he’s left.
