i’m pretty handy at the cooking lark , but i don’t unless the staff throws a sickie . after all i don’t ask her to drive the car ( not that i could trust her anywhere near it ) or put the bins out . fair distribution of labour , she cooks it , i eat it .
I understand that “H”'s favourite recipe is “chips complimented with HP Sauce” or should that be “Librally coated with HP Sauce” Cheers Anon1.
I do most of the cooking anyway, simple really so I don’t know why women make so much fuss about it. I don’t normally go for anything fancy, just stuff to stop my ribs clanking together, but while the missus is still in Hospital I am experimenting a bit as I can chuck all the ingredients around and the Dog cleans up after me! Did you know that smoke alarm’s make brilliant timer’s?
Pete.

hiya,
I spend my life thinking up excuses that’ll get out of doing anything,
can’t do that Pet I haven’t got the tools, I won’t tell you the answer
she has for that one, another one of mine is yes pet I’ll get another
next time I’m down the street and one of my best ones is I’ll get my
son in law to do it when he calls to pick the kids up, well he’s well
over six feet tall and can change light bulbs without me having to
go down the shed for the stepladder, you know it makes sense.
thanks harry, long retired.

Well I’ve no need to go for that one Pete the minute I feel I’m getting chilled
I get the hired help to turn the heating up, if you don’t get cold you have no
need to shiver I’m like a boy scout, “be prepared”, stay one jump ahead.
thanks harry, long retired.

Oh yes I get a bit John, about £200 I seem to recall? My elderly neighbour reckons that he got a lot more once he hit 65 and it pays for nearly all his fuel bills, happen he is pulling my plonker! Got the fire on now, the missus would have a fit if she was here and saw that as she always tells me to get a blanket wrapped around me instead!!!
